Privacy Policy
CDT is a flight crew duty, rest, and flight-time planning/reference calculator. CDT is designed to perform its core calculation workflow on device and does not require an account.
Data collection
CDT may store information locally on the user's device to provide app features:
- Route and duty inputs entered by the user.
- Saved routes.
- Settings profiles and company-style rule settings.
- Apple Watch sync data needed to show the current duty snapshot or queue offline Watch edits.
- Local notification and Live Activity state needed to display duty-stage reminders.
This information is used for CDT calculation, reminder, Apple Watch, and settings features.
Data sharing
CDT does not sell user data, does not use third-party advertising trackers, and does not require a server account for normal use.
If the user manually exports a settings profile, route file, PDF, screenshot, or other file, that export is controlled by the user and may be shared through iOS system sharing features.
Apple services
CDT may use Apple platform features such as local notifications, Live Activities, Apple Watch connectivity, iOS document import/export, standard crash diagnostics, TestFlight, and App Store distribution services. Apple's own data handling is governed by Apple's policies.
Permissions
CDT may request notification permission so the app can provide duty-stage reminders. CDT does not need location permission for its core calculation workflow.
Data retention and user control
Local app data remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, resets app data, removes saved routes/settings, or uninstalls the app.
- Users can edit or clear route and duty inputs.
- Users can delete saved routes.
- Users can change settings profiles.
- Users can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- Users can uninstall CDT to remove local app data managed by iOS.
