FitRoster Privacy Policy

Summary

FitRoster does not sell personal information, does not display advertising, and does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Your training information is used to provide app features such as workout planning, records, analysis, coach-trainee collaboration, sync, and backup.

Information the app may store

Depending on how you use FitRoster, the app may store these categories of information on your device and, when enabled, through Apple iCloud services:

• Profile and settings information, such as nickname, birth year, gender, body weight, units, language, and role preferences.
• Training content, such as workout menus, exercises, sets, reps, load, training records, notes, goals, and calendar history.
• Body and progress information, such as body weight and body-composition records you choose to enter.
• Coach-trainee collaboration data, such as invite codes, linked coach or trainee display names, assigned plans, shared schedules, and submitted progress.
• Backup files and exported FitRoster data when you choose to create or restore a backup.
• Messages you send to the support email address, including your email address and the content of your message.

How information is used

FitRoster uses app data only to operate the training features you choose to use:

• Create and manage workout plans, session records, and training history.
• Show training analysis, goals, progress, and body-composition context.
• Support coach-trainee plan delivery, review, and submitted training progress when collaboration features are enabled.
• Sync and restore data through Apple iCloud services when you enable iCloud sync or backup workflows.
• Respond to support requests you send by email.

iCloud, CloudKit, and backups

FitRoster may use Apple iCloud, CloudKit, and iCloud Drive to sync app data, share coach-trainee information, and store backup files when you use those features. This data is handled through Apple services associated with your Apple ID and is subject to Apple's privacy and security practices. FitRoster does not operate a separate server for selling or advertising with your training data.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, FitRoster requests permission to write completed workout summaries and read body weight. Health data is used only for training records and body-metric context inside FitRoster. FitRoster does not use HealthKit data for advertising or tracking, and does not share HealthKit data with coaches unless you explicitly share related FitRoster records.

Camera and QR codes

If you use coach invite QR code scanning, FitRoster may request camera access. Camera access is used only to scan the invite code. FitRoster does not use the camera for advertising tracking and does not store photos from QR scanning.

Sharing and third parties

FitRoster does not sell your personal information. The app does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. Data may be shared only when you choose to use Apple iCloud services, coach-trainee collaboration, backup/export features, or when required by law.

Data retention and deletion

Your FitRoster data remains available until you delete it in the app, remove the app and its data, delete related iCloud data, or delete backup files you created. If you contact support, support emails are retained only as needed to respond and maintain support records.

Children

FitRoster is intended for general training and coaching use and is not directed to children under 13. If a minor uses FitRoster, a parent, guardian, coach, or responsible adult should supervise the use of training and body-related information.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when FitRoster features, sync behavior, or release requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material changes are made.
